Building 7450 Seismic Upgrade, Delta Pier - Naval Base Kitsap, Bangor, WA
Prodims developed the design phase cost estimates for the installation of seismic upgrades for this 3 story, 59,250 square foot facility. The construction cost estimates were developed to include cost adjustments for working in the Limited Area and on the Delta Pier of the NBK, Bangor. These cost adjustments are important factors based on reduced productivity for transiting through security for both labor and material deliveries. We also developed cost adjustments for working non-standard shifts on the pier so that mission critical operations could continue on the pier in the 7450 building.
FY09 5-5 ADA Battalion Headquarters Complex, Fort Lewis, WA
Prodims provided cost estimating during the design phase for the 24,000 square foot, Battalion Headquarters Complex. This project included a Barracks, Battalion Headquarters Facility, Company Ops Facility , Tactical Equipment Maintenance Facility , and a Dining Facility expansion. Estimates included complete systems of mechanical, electrical, site work and utilities.
Centennial Middle School Additions & Remodel, Snohomish, WA
Prodims is providing design phase cost estimating services for the 36,000 square foot additions and renovation to the Centennial Middle School for the Snohomish School District. This project renovates the existing Auxiliary Gym, Commons and Science Classroom areas of the existing school as well as constructs a new 8,500 square foot Auxiliary Gym, a 21,500 square foot Science & General Classroom addition and a 6,000 square foot Outdoor Covered Play Area. The project estimating involves evaluating the costs of adding to an existing school and to account for any specialized costs related to phasing while the school remains operational throughout the construction.
Pendleton Avenue Boulevard Replacement, Fort Lewis, WA
Prodims performed the construction cost estimates on this project from conceptual design through the recently completed 35% design phase. The project replaces a two and four travel lane road with a four travel lane and two parking lane multi-way boulevard. The boulevard concept includes large landscaping trees, various paving materials for visual interest, a wide center median and street furnishings. These design features will improve traffic flow, reduce congestion, support public transportation as well as increased on-street parking via access lanes. Design and construction phasing shall keep the road open to two lanes of traffic at all times.
Port of Seattle, Renew and Replace Escalators, SeaTac International Airport, WA
Prodims is currently providing cost estimating services for the design team on the SeaTac escalator replacement project. We are providing cost estimates at the 15% and 30% level of designs on this project which will renew and replace a large number of aging escalators located at the Sea-Tac International Airport as well as include the addition of a new escalator in the South Satellite to better passenger flow.
Woodinville High School Phase 2, Site VE Study, Northshore School District, Woodinville, WA
The Woodinville High School Project Phase 2 VE Study was a constructability review and value engineering study of the site work portion of the Woodinville High School project. The VE team provided alternative phasing strategies to better accommodate the phased remodel and new construction of the various buildings on the Woodinville High School site. The strategies that were developed not only provided better access for construction but also allowed for better circulation of students and staff during construction. As the cost estimators on the team, we reviewed the current working estimate for the sitework portion of the project as well as provided cost estimating in the development of the value engineering ideas.
